Easy (and not-so-messy) science experiment

Supplies needed:
Bowl/jar  (I suggest a little smaller than what we used, maybe even 2-3 small ones)
Water
Veggie oil
food coloring
salt

Instructions:

Step 1: Fill jar/container/bowl up a little over halfway with water.

Step 2:  Pour in vegetable oil, about an inch thick.

Step 3: Squirt one drop of food coloring in.

Step 4: Sprinkle salt onto food coloring and watch what happens.
WOWZA!

Thumbs up from Taylor!

5 out of 5 stars from Tay!
5 out of 5 from me!

Seriously, E-A-S-Y!!!! This doesn't take up a lot of time. It could be altered to look like fireworks if you have red and blue food coloring. The ingredients needed are already in most of our pantry's! If you are a mom who isn't into making a huge mess, but want to try something with your child, this is the way to go!
