Easy Home-made Chalk Paint

So finally got a chance to post my chalk paint recipe....Super Easy...

•  Olympic flat latex paint ( I have use Valspar Signature flat paint also....just make sure you get self priming flat paint)
• Plaster of Paris ( I used DAP from Lowe's)
• Paste Wax ( I used Johnson paste wax)
• Water
• Stir sticks
• Plastic Buckets
• Plastic measuring cups ( do not reuse for food)

Mix 1/3 cup of plaster of paris & 1/3 cup of cool water; stir until completely smooth.Easy Chalk Paint

Mix that with 1 cup of latex paint & stir thoroughly.

This will make enough chalk-paint for one coat on a six-drawer dresser.

Note: Chalk paint should not be stored & reused. If you mix smaller amounts of plaster, paint & water in the same proportions.
